The amber cabochon measures about 5cm (two inches) tall and over 4cm (1.6 inches across). The hefty handmade sterling silver handle features a wraparound appliqué of a cantering horse and an oversized bespoke hallmark from the London Assay Office, 1996. The length of the riding crop is a leather-over-fibreglass Shires show crop.

Condition is excellent, with one tiny chip on the cabochon, as shown in the photographs, with the distinctive conchoidal shape of natural amber. Invisible in normal use.
