SOLD - Silver Royal Beasts spoons

This remarkable set of eight sterling silver spoons is one of just 350 sets minted to commemorate the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles, now King Charles, and Lady Diana Spencer. Each spoon is made from Sterling silver with 22 ct gold vermeil inserts, which bear detailed intaglios of royal beasts. Silver Jubilee 1977 hallmarks to the bowl.

Each spoon weighs over 35 grams - more than a Troy ounce of silver. A very rare limited edition set which is rarely seen on the market. Offered complete with presentation box and certificate.
