This large and striking woodcut is a 1981 work by Chinese artist Wu Qiangnian (born 1937). His work has won numerous awards and features in the collections of museums and public galleries both in China and internationally.

This work forms part of his “Sounds of Nature” series and shows dragonflies in a tranquil riverbank setting. It is numbered 39 of a limited edition of 100, and is titled, signed, and dated by the artist in pencil. Framed and glazed.
