This fab Murano Sommerso vase is makes a statement with it's lovely combination of amethyst and cyan Sommerso glass. The perfect vase to display with some spring flowers, and a lovely gift for a collector of Italian, Murano or Mid Century glass.
The piece is not signed but that is common with Murano glass. It could be a piece by Alfredo Barbini or Flavio Poli as they are known for this colour combination. Other possible artists include: Salviati, Zipfel and Luigi Onesto.
This piece has a very small chip to the base and minor scratches to one side as photographed.
