This watercolour of Oxford’s iconic Magdalen Bridge is an 1899 work by artist Robert Hamilton Chapman (1860-1943), a professional landscape painter who lived in Oxfordshire at the time. His works were exhibited by institutions such as the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Royal Academy.
